This is the first I heard of the #luxjam, good game, let me know if any others for this jam might be good too.

The graphics and models are very good, but it's almost impossible to know where you have to go and what to do, it took me way too long to find the key and have no idea what to do after getting there

Very ambitious for a gamejam. The environment was very well made, but I don't think the gameplay showcased in in the best way. The light puzzles were alright, but kind of convoluted. The first one I found easy, but then the ones after that behaved differently? Or maybe I was just being dumb. Wasn't the third room without a puzzle? At the start I was also very confused because I thought that the light tablet had bugged because there wasn't any indication of it doing anything when pressed. I also didn't realize to look for a key straight away. By the way why didn't you just make the other doors closed as well. Why have the darkness suddenly kill the player? I see that I've complained a lot, but that's because I really cared about the game. It was very well made. Great job.

The light puzzle after the first one had a different pattern, yeah. It affected lights diagonally adjacent to the light you were interacting with.  I also get the thing about the console a lot. If I had the time I would have looked for sounds to use  to alert that a change was made, but could not because I stressed out on time. If the game had the lore I initially planned for it to have, the darkness mechanic would have made sense; there is a monster that killed your friend while you were in space, and it is trying to kill you, and it is only alive in the dark. If you would like any assistance on the game, here is the Walkthrough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6WucsdJnaQ&t=171s

And also thank you for the kind words. I hope to remake this with my own assets and with a larger diversity of puzzles, as well as (hopefully) some cool ass lore.

I really like the lore of the game.  The sound was super loud and the amount of head bobbing I found a bit distracting. I couldn't really figure out the lights on lights off puzzle but that's probably a me problem. Great job with this. :)

Hi! Thank you!

I sadly took a risk when making the darkness mechanic with the main music, but I hope you enjoyed it either way. If you need help, here's a Walkthrough. <3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6WucsdJnaQ&t=171s

Here´s some feedback! The doors should open in the opposite direction of the player position. I get super lost, the lights never turn on, and i cant go through the corridors. I get lost and went out, coudnt finish it. I didnt know the darkness will kill me, until he does. Its kinda frustating! Check my game also and gime some feedback too c:  https://itch.io/jam/lux-jam/rate/583994

Hi! It turns on the lights to one of the corridors so you don't die. :)

I left click to the purple screen but no lights turned on! what's the problem?🤔
The environment for 2 days work is really impressive! good job!

They should turn on the lights in the corridors! If I had the time I would have added sound effects. Sorry!

Cool environment! impressive!

Problems: 1. Audio is way loud. 2. Camera sensitivity is painfully slow. I had the same sensitivity problem with my submission using the new unity standard assets. Couldn't figure out how to fix it :( no idea what's wrong with the Unity devs' computers that they don't realize this problem yet... oh well. next jam.

Developer

Hiya! I am glad you enjoy it!

With the audio, sadly I took a risk with the music when making the Sanity mechanic, in which the audio would have to be loud to make the effect work, so sorry about that!

I also thought that the sensitivity was fine. But that's just preference! If I had the time to add a settings menu for diversity and stuff, I would definitely add one! I am sorry for these issues though. If I had the time I would have looked through how to fix them.  :(

There was also supposed to be like, some good ass lore in here as well, however I found out I didn't have as long as I anticipated, forcing me to sacrifice the lore. Hopefully I can remake it and make it good but as a whole seperate game since I was happy with the lore. :)

Thank you for using your time to play the game! I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope you completed it; if you did, how long did it take? Thanks!
