I have 0 sense of direction so I couldn't play for too long, but very cool concept!

Trippy game, I dig it! :D

Submitted

The physics are quite glitchy , and also: what

Submitted

Super amazing music and voice. Felt very disorienting and multi-dimensional. Would love to know more about how this was created!

Developer

Thanks for giving a try! ( https://www.twitch.tv/videos/565245433 2:06:45 )

Hope you manage it next time. Hint: "SEEK OUT THAT STRANGE [yellow] LIGHT" (that's the goal)

So sorry the camera made it worse than it should be. Haven't figured out yet how to make it less bad...

Submitted

Nice concept !
A little bit laggy when changing "levels". A free move camera would be great i think.

Super weird trippy...I loved it! Great job!

Submitted

Trippy, but in a good way! Good voice acting!

Submitted

Apart from the camera movement a very interesting game!

im not sure if the linux build is broken or not? the screenshots looks entirely different from what the game is in the linux build so im assuming it is

Developer

Thanks for reporting! Indeed, Linux and macOS builds are untested and this is using Unity 2020 Alpha. Is it pink all over? Or how does it look way different?

Submitted

no, only the lighting is affected. its really glitchy and often its unclear if ive reached the exit or another dead end. i might record a video of it if i can

Submitted(+1)

That is just clever! :D  Get a solid camera on that and you could do a lot with that concept!  :D  Great job!

Submitted

Nice Idea.

I can barely control the character because the camera movement was a bit weird. A good concept and a lot of effort i can see! Keep going!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing - indeed the camera controls are a pain. I couldn't figure out how to adjust them. I asked on the Unity forum how to handle the new standard assets now. Hopefully they can help. :)

I Stuck at this corridor! where's the right path iwan?!🤔

Developer

lol, I have no idea which level that is :D Keep going forward?

Sorry again for the horrible camera controls :|

I think if you adjust AO to your camera with unity post-process (or something like that) helps Readability of your 3d environment with emphasis on the edges.
It's not from your camera control.

Before, I was here but forgot to click "Save rating".  Now, I just did one minute ago.

Neat voiceovers!

Developer

Thanks! Sorry about the controls! :D

Submitted(+1)

I got confused at times, partly because of the camera, but I really like the concept.

Also, extra points for the voice in your game.

Developer

Thanks! - Yeah, hopefully I'll figure out how to fix the camera one day :)

Nice work :), i liked the environment you created. The camera was strange to me, but this could be my mouse xD.

I love it, the mechanics are so fun, and also the main menu is unique! The camera is a little glitchy :)

I tried the same thing while ago and I found this temporary solution if you want to code by yourself:

https://wiki.unity3d.com/index.php/MouseOrbitImproved

Or for a quicker result and to not invent again the cold water I used this super cool free asset:

https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/characters/eazy-camera-102275

Hope this help :)

Developer

Thanks for the hint! I will try out that camera!

Really like the atmosphere you created, and the mechanics clicked on my brain from the beginning, the only real flaw is the camera collision test, other than that really solid game, mate :)

Developer

Thanks! Even worse than the cam collision I thought was the cam slowness. Hopefully I'll find out how to fix it someday!
