Thank you everyone for joining and submitting to the first Lyko Horror Game Jam. I loved and played all of the game
s on the @LilLyko live stream on YouTube. Here are the respected winners.
Overall & Innovation: CONGRATS To Adrien Dittrick for getting #1 place in "Overall, & Innovation". for the game '[m] an idle nightmare' This game was one of the most innovative horror game's I have ever personally played. The art style was super creative and the mechanics were honestly out of this world. The sound design and story align perfectly to create this atmosphere that you cannot get the same affect created by huge game studio.
Style: Bear Willow got 1st place in "Style" for the game 'Tokihanatsu' this game was phenomenal, and the unique art style reminded me of the games 'sarah is missing' and 'simulacra', and this game met the same or similar expectations of those titles, with it's own twist of course. The once at first seemingly nice mini-games turn sour as the glitchiness and spookiness settles in.
Spooky Level: p-Iulian won this criteria by a long shot with the title 'No Treat Tonight', this game create's a false sense of security of a man taking a trip down memory lane in his old home. But it is Halloween, and everything is not as it seems when a man in a clown costume won't leave you alone. The spooky levels are off the CHARTS!
Audio: Tarotferret effortlessly dominates this criteria with his title 'Matchbox' the environment is very reminiscent of the DOOM '93 trilogy. And other retro 3D titles. It follows a person who is trying to escape a dimly lit maze, only way out is to find a key within the corridors. While mysteriously being followed in the darkness, BETTER KEEP THAT MATCH LIT! The audio coming from every little thing in the game creates a feeling of restlessness and confinement.
