There are definitely some quality elements to this project, but there isn't really a coherent game here yet.

I love the main character art, and they have beautiful 2D skeletal animation. The world art also looks amazing, though it's sometimes hard to tell what's in the background and what you can jump on. Some of the platform graphics are a bit awkward, and the UI is clearly a placeholder and is cut off.

There's a mention of audio, and it looks like you went as far as integrating wwise, but there didn't seem to actually be any audio in the game. I'm not sure if it's just not working for me, or never made it in.

The platforming is janky. It's not awful, but definitely feels like a work in progress. It feels a bit loose, collision detection is a bit off, and sometimes you just randomly bounce on things in the air.

If there were any enemies or beat 'em up elements, I never saw them. If there was a way to attack, I never figured it out. There was some kind of debug looking object to the left of the spawn, and what seemed to be an enemy that didn't really do anything, but other than that, it was a desolate, empty world. I think I eventually fell out of it.

There is no tutorial and very little information on the submission page, and no screenshots. Strictly speaking this is not criticism of the game itself, but I think it would have helped get more attention and give us a better idea of what to expect if that page was fleshed out a bit. The concept/key art is pretty nice, though.

For better or for worse this project feels like it went all in on the art without getting the basics of the game working first. It's a shame the game didn't get finished, because the art really is incredibly nice.

For the gameplay part, it's clearly no finished. the platformer system is roughly done, but still quite buggy. And is it me? or there is no sound in the game?

For the art ... it's beautiful. I didn't expect seeing something like this in a game jam. I hope you don't waste the existing art. Please try to make it to some project.

The graphics look amazing, like, this is professional-level art that really looks whimsical and it really does give it the wonderland feel. The design of the main character is astoundingly good, but there’s almost nothing to back that up - no story, no disposition, no emotion, no character. As such, she doesn’t really feel like a magical girl. The gameplay leaves a lot more to be desired. There’s no beat-em-up gameplay (or if there is, then it is buggy and it’s not happening for me), and the platforming is very stiff and floaty. Sometimes I thought the camera was left behind, but I pressed ‘G’ and it’s back to normal; it appears that ‘F’ will leave the camera in place - this should be mentioned. The submission description mentions a sound designer, but there is no sound. I continued going right, jumping on mushrooms with no animations, and then just fall off at the end. As a game, it is very unfinished.

With this quality of art and the mystical setting, I believe this game can be developed into something very interesting if given more time. Keep it up!
