There are definitely some quality elements to this project, but there isn't really a coherent game here yet.

I love the main character art, and they have beautiful 2D skeletal animation. The world art also looks amazing, though it's sometimes hard to tell what's in the background and what you can jump on. Some of the platform graphics are a bit awkward, and the UI is clearly a placeholder and is cut off.

There's a mention of audio, and it looks like you went as far as integrating wwise, but there didn't seem to actually be any audio in the game. I'm not sure if it's just not working for me, or never made it in.

The platforming is janky. It's not awful, but definitely feels like a work in progress. It feels a bit loose, collision detection is a bit off, and sometimes you just randomly bounce on things in the air.

If there were any enemies or beat 'em up elements, I never saw them. If there was a way to attack, I never figured it out. There was some kind of debug looking object to the left of the spawn, and what seemed to be an enemy that didn't really do anything, but other than that, it was a desolate, empty world. I think I eventually fell out of it.

There is no tutorial and very little information on the submission page, and no screenshots. Strictly speaking this is not criticism of the game itself, but I think it would have helped get more attention and give us a better idea of what to expect if that page was fleshed out a bit. The concept/key art is pretty nice, though.

For better or for worse this project feels like it went all in on the art without getting the basics of the game working first. It's a shame the game didn't get finished, because the art really is incredibly nice.
