I love the aesthetics of this game, the bunny is so cute, and the mechanics add more to it. The petting animation is definitely killing. There is one critical comment I can make though, I hope the tutorial is clearer for new players. I know how to play this game because I playtested it before it comes up here, though reading the comments below makes me think yeah, a better tutorial could kill it.

This is soooo adorable!!!!! Love how you pace the stroke with key pressing, you make it very smooth, just as how I would imagine petting a bunny. One thing I do notice is how you handle the stroke bar. The friendliness bar is easy to understand, but it did take me some time to figure out the stroke bar. I thought I could release the space bar at anytime, since it is a diminishing bar, and the bar doesn’t have any indicator on it while I’m pressing the key until the release word pops out in the end. I think maybe it would be more intuitive if the diminishing bar is instead an increasing bar? Like the fishing part in stardew valley but obviously an easier version, where you hold the key, the bar increases, and you release the key within the range of a certain midpoint.

This was great! All the art was simple but perfectly on point for the aesthetic. The font was cute and fit the setting, but it was just a little bit hard to read it bc the spaces are very small. Music is adorable and contributed a good amount to the experience. I love the reward for maxing out the "friendliness" meter, very cute, but it could have used a small sound effect. The only think that I didn't love was that the player only needed to let go of the spacebar for a split second to prevent the bar from going over, and then you'd just go back to vigorously petting the bunny.

Awesome job though!
