The theme for the jam will be released on Friday, your game needs to follow that theme.
So unless you can look into the future lol, which is very impressive if you can, you wouldn't be able to start early. Or unless you got very lucky.

Mabye you can already start making a game, and then if the theme is released you just modify the game, so it would fit the theme.
i think you can BUTt if I started a game and modifying it for the game jam, i feel like it would kind of ruin the whole 14 day limit thing.

but what about sumbitting early too ? you start 2 days early, then submit 2 days before jam ends :D
