I think something about the checkpointing was a bit strange? Like, if I fell into a pit, it’d restore my health to the last checkpoint? And, to echo other folks, the hard-to-see elements of the game got a bit frustrating, as well as the falling platforms being very quick to fall. That mixes frustratingly with what I believe is a lack of coyote time, or not much of it?
I do like the music and the art (apart from the difficulties with visibility), and and the sword animation is nice, and it’s cool to see a level-up mechanic built in it!
thanks for commenting, I will take into account all the comments for the next update. about the checkpoints, it seemed to me that when you die your health is restored, but it was the one who did not test. The platform thing was the biggest criticism, after publishing it I realized that that section of the map is frustrating. the music was made by me, with the help of a friend, we tried to give it a cave atmosphere.
After I beat the purple wizard guy the game went straight to main menu, is that the end or have I missed content? I want to make sure I saw everything ^^ The game is great, I love the art work and music are amazing!
The only real criticism I have is that the collapsing floors are a bit unforgiving, and you have to wait quite a while for them to come back, but thats just a minor thing. overall very decent game :)
Thank you very much for commenting, I've really been busy and I didn't have time to develop the story, after the purple magician "supposedly you are the father of the protagonist" but for personal reasons I didn't have time to finish developing that part of the story that I didn't finish, then of the jam I will update and add the content that I am missing.
Amazing work! Had a blast playing this game. The one thing that I did not like much was how difficult some things were to see. Took me a while to notice the lever, or the many spike traps
