Yes sadly that's a problem with the Godot engine :( I will see what I can do to improve it.

Its not because of that, its because of occlusion culling is not supported in Godot

Impressive for a first game!

Thank you for the kind words

Not much to tinker with yet, the sky box is pretty, the baddies are spooky.

Yes I know. I was actually fiddling with the Godot engine for a month but I was not able to make the game I originally planned for. So I had to finally ditch that original idea and build this half cooked game in 2 days

You have a good start with that! I read that it's your first game, that really good for a first one, and I mean it. : ) My first game wasn't even playable, so gj!

Thanks a lot for your kind words :D
I hope to create a lot more games in the future.

Hey it's the pistol from Halo 1. Awesome accuracy, but it just needs a scope now.

Developer

Thanks for trying out my game. This is my first game thought no one would be playing to be honest :P. And yes I plan to improve upon this game and add more enemies and scope with a sniper rifle etc. Also sorry if the performance was low currently Godot does not support occlusion culling.

I was wondering about that. My computer can handle a lot, but honestly, with an early build, I'm not too worried about a little lag. I cant imagine what the asset pipelining is like for 3d gaming!

I really liked the use of depth of field. It made the world feel like a super high res minecraft when I looked out in the distance.  That's what started getting me to shoot enemies from afar and it totally took me back to playing the first Halo. The enemies even remind me of the flood a little. Definitely keep up the good work! It already has the right feel to it.

Developer

Thanks a lot. I definitely plan on improving and making a better game.
