The gameplay seems like it could be very fun. The gun is satisfying to use and the levels are pretty well designed. There one thing holding it back though: The jump physics. You have little air friction (if any) so trying to move while jumping feels like being on ice. The jump height is also fixed (as opposed being able to release the jump button for a lower jump). This isn't too bad in some games, but in this one - where you're constantly jumping to dodge projectiles and fight enemies at different elevations - it's glaring omission.

That complaint out of the way, I love the presentation in this game! The cyperpunk aesthetic is super cool, and utilised well. The art in general is very well done, as is the animation for everything. The music also helps to give it that cyperpunk flair. One bit of the presentation that stood out was the hud bar. It's very detailed, but also very readable. I like the little meter for the gun capacity. Having a mini-map built until the hud is really cool, and something I don't see a lot of - even in commercial metroidvanias!

Thank you for your feedback, I am glad you like the presentation and the overall feel of the game. I would like to set your mind at ease regarding the jump. Originally the jump mechanics were quite rushed and as time went on i just stuck with it, however as i have been adding enemies that are of different heights I too realized this feels unnecessarily difficult to hit those guys as well as the shot delay so after the rating session i will have fixed this problem I have also made it possible to move in the air, I am working round the clock on increasing the variety of graphics (lots more BG animation) new cyberpunk characters and enemies. I have also been producing more music, I have 6 new tracks coming soon as well as a new boss tune for main area bosses. Again thank you very much for your feedback

Great graphics, love the music, keyboard controls are bit wonky. I highly recommend you download the game and use the control pad ( I use a PS4 one) as it feels much more responsive. However could do with more guidance in the game.

Can't wait for this to develop more and I have added it to my favourite's

i like it, but there some things that made me drop the game, like the movment and controls. The jump height is fixed,  this would not be an problem if i don't need to jump and shoot an enemy that is between the floor and the the jump height, also, the controls are a bit weird like, there is a whole distance between CTRL and E.
I couldn't get much far in the game because the save points are not working, and I have some of skill issue playing it too.
But, don't get me wrong, I like the efforts and you should continue working on the game, it has potential.

Thanks for the feedback, in all honesty i agree with the fixed height on the jump this is something i should be able to fix by the next builds. The controls are still very controller centric as i was planning on adding key config screen. Regards to the save points they do work but i have given the wrong control in the level it is in fact hold space to save again this was just a time issue and plan on getting a hotfix up as soon as the judging is over, but thank you for the feedback
