Zelda ~ 7th Palace on Mystery Isle
First Impression: no Fullscreen, ok first thing first the game pulled me in and I played it for 10 minutes without writing anything, it’s fun! Ok after a few tries I saw the hit boxes are merciless! OK I reach the boss fight somehow, couldn’t beat it because I was at 1 heart.
Good Points:
+ good visuals
+ good story
+ good control setting
+ solid level design
+ solid amount of feature
Overall: Oh boy it’s review time; The game is amazing! But disappoint you in the worst way possible. Like the hit box is such a pain to deal with, the save will break if you save twice like it’s save your heart but not your progress and location! The movement is good but the animation is not how it should be. You have better chance of staying alive smashing the attack button than looking for the hit box of enemy and save more hearth. But anyways the story is good also the collectible makes it worth playing. I have to say this is one of the games that did pretty good at implementing features with the short amount of time and they do work, not in a long time but still it’s better to have it. Also, the game is pretty fun. I do say 9 is the good mark.
Thank you! glad you enjoyed the game despite it's many flaws!
I enjoyed this, it was quite fun :D
Thank you! glad you liked it!
'tis really nice! The audio mixing is... eh. Some parts feel too loud and others too quiet.
The sprites are really nice and the art in the beginning is EXCELLENT.
Decent entry overall.
Thank you! yeah, didn't have much time to fix the volume overall, but there is an option to change the music and sfx volumes in game. glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah, also I would've appreciated a way to get hearts XD
I was planning on adding life potion bottles into the game (the remenant of which is the 3 empty bottles), but didn't have the time lol. i'll hopefully fix that once i finish the game after the jam.
Okie
I like the style, it really feels like a SNES game. Do you plan to do more with it
thnx! yes I do plan to complete it. I'll probably update it here and on MFGG once it's done.
