In Permurus you can turn into a phantom, which allows you to pass through certain walls/objects. This can be used to get into a blocked off room, but it can also be a disadvantage if you want to push a box or toggle a switch. The game is about deciding when to turn into a phantom and how to use the phantom form's abilities while avoiding its drawbacks.
