Looks really cool, I like the idea but I actually had better luck just mashing my mouse button as fast as possible than when I tried to follow the beat. You know visually this kind of reminds me of "Devil Daggers".
I didn't want the game to be frustrating especially since I didn't know how good anyone was with rhythm games so I made it so it was possible to follow the beat within .4 seconds of it not being at it's max pulse size.
Nice game and good use of the theme!
