Your idea is very creative, besides being very easy to understand, I spent a lot of time playing it, it is very addictive and very fun

Fun game, but the randomness makes it so I can't build a village properly :(
The randomness can create fun islands, but can also limit them. I might add a creative game mode later, letting you decide what tiles you get.

when i was playing i tried to have all houses connected like a neighborhood although the randomness sometimes meant that I couldn't finish them
I really liked this unique concept ! The art is great and so are the relaxing mechanics ! My two cents of suggestions :

In the early hours of game-jam I was also thinking of making something like this with proper mechanics but scraped out that idea due to time limitation art style is very good it has a lot of potential, You can even make it into a mobile game with this much elegant graphics and proper mechanics (Some I though for this jam were giving scores based on how neatly player formed city) This idea is very very similar to me All the verybest I will sugest you continue to work on this
