Use of the limitation
I incorporated the limitation by making a game where you try to sacrifice people, but failure is invevitable.

Nice Idea but the game as a whole wasnt too fun

Developer

Sorry about that. It was a very unenjoyable game, and it was my first ever game jam. I hope to make better games in the future. Thanks for letting me know.

You dont have to be sorry! Its completly normal to start small and to not make the best games. I really dont want to demotivate you and keep you from developing games!

Its my first Game Jam too and you should join many others because you learn so many new things through them! I for example learned about gamemakers sequences and animation curves and Im sure you learned something aswell!

Im sorry for my bad review. Here is a better version with things I liked and disliked:

What I liked:

  • That you could pick up dead bodys
  • The voice speaking
  • The Idea

What I disliked:

  • The Art (which just takes a lot of practice)
  • The gameplay (which is really hard to get right)
  • The movement (which could have been a bit nicer)
  • The presentation (which also just takes a long time to learn and get right)

Just practice a lot, watch tutorials, read documentations, look at other games, get inspired by others and you will get better! I for example really liked the idea of a limited palette in the SlimeKeep Devlogs of BenBonk because it made it easier for me to make art and it gave my games a special style. You just need to practice a lot and a lot of time and you will get better.
