I was never good at these types of games. I got my self good and lost to what I was suppose to do I even got stuck at the police officer because for some reason I was trying to show him the arrest warrant to show him that I was there for that but he wanted the autopsy report instead took me a bit to figure that out. Good job on your game never the less.

I am unable to finish it because i do not know where i have to go. I got the key for the walk-in-closet, but there is nothing there (maybe?). Then i reached the kitchen, but Rhys Fishman — was he locked in there all this time? — does not give me any real information. I believe i inspected every room of the house, and outside, but have no clue what to do next.

It is a solid text adventure, and gave me the sensation of playing a game of old. However, if you want to continue working on it, i suggest add alias to objects and characters: “talk rhys” should be the same as “talk rhys fishman”, or “use key” the same as “use master bedroom key” if i only have a key; it helps a lot.

Also, it is very important to watch out for spelling mistakes, specially with objects, because i did not read that carefully the name of the arrest warrent and i was trying to give a warrant. Of course, i am aware that in a jam game with so much text, this is unavoidable.

Been a while since I played a text-based adventure! Was refreshingly different to all of the other submissions. Kept my attention for a while!
