Use of the limitation
Metaphorically your score matters since they represent the last moments of the characters life: warmth, food, and time wrapped up in one number. The coldness of the character's life being reduced to just the number of moments spent alive feels fitting to the tone and theme. Perhaps they were counting their final moments in much the same way.

Interesting concept. Quite confusing though.

I really wanted to like this game, but it was completely incomprehensible. I couldn't figure out what was happening or what I was supposed to do. I thought the note of what I'm holding would clue me in somewhat, then I saw "Holding: {" and realized I was very wrong.

Not a big fan of that type of graphics, but i enjoied the game. By trial and error understand what item is doing, for old style looking game is kinda cool, adds a flaivor to it. Limitation useage is ok

This was surprisingly fun!  I like that you took the game style of rouge and turned it more accessible with just spacebar to interact.  The presentation was a little confusing at first, but I did figure out most of the objects with trial and error.  I do feel the use of limitation is a bit weak.  But the game is fun and it's really cool how you did so much with so little.
