The animations are all really impressive, and i love how varied the different mushrooms are.

Developer

Thank you so much!

Love the art style and the concept. Mushrooms rule.

And obvs, as a musician, I made some cool tunes pretty quickly.

Agree with what some others have said that it's confusing you have to scroll on the timeline. But tidy that up and it could be a winner!

Developer

Thank you so much, I consider that a huge compliment from a musician! And hell yeah mushrooms rule!

I agree with that too, the music sheet menu was the last thing we implemented and we didn't have time to polish it. I already have some ideas as to what could fix it though! Thank you again for playing and I'm glad you liked it :)

Thats a very good looking and sounding prototype, good job on that! Animations are especially impressive for a jam game.

Maybe I missed something, but I believe the position of shrooms on the circle don't matter? Maybe that could be nice if it did!

Thank you! We spent a significant amount of time (perhaps too much) making it look as good as we could, haha.

The positions on the wheel do actually matter relating to the position in the menu, I just did not have the time to implement a highlight for whose notes you are changing when working in the music menu. Tat's why there are little icons of the mushroom type next to each row in the menu, it's a bit of a bandaid solution.

Developer(+1)

I reread what you wrote and I think I misunderstood your point, haha. As of now we don't have any planned gameplay effect stemming from the position on the wheel, but that's an interesting thing to think about, so thanks for the suggestion!

I like the visuals and the graphics ;) The use of the limitation is also very cool, but I am not sure what is the point of the game.

Developer

Hi and thank you! The point is mostly to just make music in this iteration. Any challenge modes will have to be a future project, but it would be a sort of "complete this objective to unlock this feature" kind of completionist game. We also wanted to implement a resource based economy and recipes to use those resources to spawn the mushrooms and power them up, but unfortunately we ran out of time.

So, right now, it's just a very pretty music maker with no challenge outside navigating the slightly obscure music sheet, haha

I see, sounds nice. Good luck with this project :)
