Use of the limitation
The game centers around staying on tempo to do more damage and get the highest score. The story is you are a bird climbing a dark castle to eliminate a machine that'll turn all machines against you. You as a song bird use your bardic magic to combat this. LITERALLY none of that is probably gaugeable when playing though since we didn't have a ton of time to show that off

Cute game, though I have a few comments!
the color choice for enemies isn't great, as it blends a lot with the ground colors under it. That also makes it hard to tell when new ones spawn at the edge of the map, so a warning flash at the edge where one will spawn would be a good addition.
The window of being able to shoot dash is a bit unforgiving, I would change it so it does the damage boost on a perfect hit but otherwise still lets you shoot
The enemy movement is slow enough that you can kite them indefinitely, the dodge mechanic isn't even really needed at present
heya!!
good game and love the concept!! adding a "near miss" shot would be nice. it could do less damage and be a little inaccurate, but helps the player keep on the right track.
Nice one!
I love the use of the limitation here, it's pretty simple but puts you into the game quite well. The execution is overall good, even if it was sometimes quite hard to do perfects. Maybe adding a small correction to the input time to take into account the average input delay of unity and user's hardware would help!
Thanks for the game I had fun 🐦🎶
Thanks for the advice and thanks a lot for playing, glad you had fun!
I'm confused, why isn't there any music when you start the game? Also, spacebar doesn't seem to do anything...
You have to hit R to load a track and then the game starts. Also spacebar is a dash and only works when hit on beat!
Fun
Thanks glad you had fun!
The idea was cool, and fun to play. Remembers me to game like Zelda Cadence.
Thank you! Glad you had fun and wish you well!! :D
Thanks! Appreciate it
I love the concept, could be a really cool game, however the songs dont even have different rythms or any rythms at all really, its just the same time between clicks for the entire song...
Ye we were late to join so we didn't have time to implement much beyond a very simple system. Would love to in the future though obviously mix it up far more. Hope you still had a little fun and have a nice day
Crunching on time, we all know it lol, all good!
Hello! ヾ(^∇^) I hope y'all have a lil fun with this and have a nice day! Excited to play your submissions!

Small disclaimer! The Rhythm syncing can apparently be off on the webGL version sometimes so apologies if this happens while playing. Wish y'all well and have a nice day! (Also remember to press R to start when in game)
