Use of the limitation
Both parts of the game loop (Shopping and Fighting) only last 10 seconds, which is good in the combat section, since you only have to survive for a short while, but is a hinderance in the shopping section, as you don't have much time for shopping
Cookies eaten
None, as I'm on a diet ^_^

A really solid game! I think the bartering system is super cool, but given that there is no downside to it I could pretty consistently grab 3-5 heals for 1-5 gold and pretty easily reach over 100hp. I think either ramping difficulty in the waves or adding a downside to bartering could help counteract this. Regardless, a fun concept with the 10 second windows, and an enjoyable time.
I'd really appreciate a rate of my game. It was my first jam, so all feedback both good and bad is awesome: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-130-lunar/rate/2020903
Hey, it's my first jam as well! Thanks for the feedback.
I added difficulty ramping and a minimum price for items in a new patch. I didn't get around to putting it on itch, but it's available on my GitHub
I got it to run, but then it just displayed the title screen and no matter what button or key I pressed, nothing happened :(
May I ask what resolution your monitor is? The game starts in 1920x1080 windowed by default, so if your monitor has a smaller resolution, all the buttons will be displayed outside of your monitor
i think there was a good idea here that you could work on by polishing your skills further. Good luck in your next development endeavors!
