I really loved the art!!! Also the platforming in this game with the pickaxe jumping was very fun! I would love to see this released into a full game!

Lovely rhythm in the song!
Just a small observation: the intro flashed by quickly, so I missed it on my first go.
It took me a moment (and a few mishaps) to realize the game had begun while I was still watching the plane opening.
The background music is catchy.
I'm impressed with the character's animation and controls. The bouncing mechanic stands out!
Overall, enjoyable gameplay. Well done!

I really liked the art style and the music. Was a fun experience overall as the pickaxe mechanic was fun to master, the story bit in the beginning was a very nice touch and the checkpoints were fairly placed.
The player controls were a bit finicky though

Interesting game :) However, I found it a bit hard since I kept touching the monster's hand and it was hovering on my head too close than I would have liked. Also, there are some instances where I just die right after respawning. Oh, and I think the controls feel a little bit.. sluggish?  Overall, I think with more polish, Catalyst could be a nice game for sci-fi lovers!
