one of the better games i've seen in this jam, the enemy is actually kind of scary because of the old rpg type movement

Nice horror game! I got tense every time I heard the lady's scream!

Some feedback:

I would recommend letting the lady catch the player if they hide in front of her. I was able to escape her by running under the desk every time, even if she was right behind me and that felt a little anti-climatic.

I got the alarm clock and got to the wizard but the message said "The wizard is asleep" and I think it said "you win" too, so that might be a typo since I thought I was trying to wake him up?

While replaying the game, there were instances where I got caught by the lady as soon as I opened the initial door. Maybe have her spawn somewhere away form the player after they have found the key or have already spent some time in the main room?

Or maybe you could have the player retrieve multiple items from around the house to wake up the wizard, instead of just the alarm clock. Like the wizard's slippers, breakfast, coffee, etc. Then you could have the lady appear after the first object, then get faster or "smarter" in her search for the player as they get more items. I don't know, maybe you already had this idea and time ran short.

Well done!
