Vampire Survivors is really cool, so this game couldn't be any less. It's quite entertaining, and the dropping power-ups add a certain frenetic pace to it. Honestly, very fun to play. Good job to both brothers ^^

Thank you for the encouraging comment! “Frenetic pace” certainly describes the game, both in terms of gameplay and dev time, hehe.

Wow! You did a good job on the mechanics of the game, I like when there are details and nuances in the gameplay. (At first I didn’t understand how freezing works and how exactly enemies lower the temperature, but then I understood) I also like all the action that happens during the game, it’s very reminiscent of Vampire Survivors :)
Good job!

Yeah, Vampire Survivors was clearly an inspiration here. We decided early on to skip on the currency and upgrades, so we could focus on the core mechanics (temperature & freezing). If we continue to work on the game, we might want to add this, we’ll see. Thanks for trying the game and commenting!

Nice game and limitation concept. I liked very much the detailed instructions and user interface. Game sprites are very minimalistic and some better animations would be great. Anyway, great work!

Thank you for the kinds words. You’re right, the artistic aspect is quite… lacking. That’s why I felt the need to specify “both programmers” in the submission, hehe. We spent most of the jame with placeholders, then used and adapted “stock” assets (mainly Kenney’s). Creating our own art might be our next challenge in a future game jam.
