I actually think this could be a lot of fun. My only issue was the lag behind the cursor on player movement. Not sure what was causing that. I think it'd be worth revisiting again if you can correct and scale the game.
What do you mean by "lag behind the cursor"? The player has a finite speed.
Great concept, but the difficulty of some of the harder levels could be adjusted, there have been times where the hard levels spawned far too many enemies at once. Some of the upgrades could be adjusted too, the invincibility upgrade could last a little longer than it does in my opinion, and the health upgrade having multiple levels to purchase could be good too. Overall, a great game, and a great use of the limitation too.
a lot of cool ideas here, I haven't played a game like this where your cursor is (basically) your character. The sheer amount of features was a little overwhelming though, I think if you chose maybe 2 or 3 to focus on and fleshed it out, it could be a pretty fun game to try runs with different abilities!
