Very good graphics, I especially liked the running animation. Reminded me of Jiraiya from Naruto

Lovely art, can tell a lot of love went into it.  The platforming felt wonky (especially on diagonal ground) but the gun mechanics were very inventive.  Great job!

Woo I reached the end! I almost gave up on the early platforming but the comments and screen shots gave me strenght o>

Good visuals and good ideas, the gameplay is a bit clunky but it's overall impressive!

Little notes:

-The game screensize on itch is too big, there is a fullscreen button so just keep the game small in the web page (imo)

-The parallax on the trees is inverted, background trees should be slower than foreground

Whattt this game is crazy, especially having done this all by yourself. The art is amazing, everything feels so atmospheric. The beginning was actually super difficult, and I thought it would be done once I got to the end but then there was a weapon?? At first I thought you were just using the symbols as a key to open a door, but once I used the teleporting code I realized they were like spells or something, which was crazy. I'm glad there were only 2 cause it's hard to memorize random symbol combinations lol. I love the concept so much, it would be super cool to see this fully flushed out with more gameplay and levels.

Wow this is so pretty! Really well put together all around. Movement feels nice but a little weird.
I appreciate that the slopes have some stuff going on! Pops you up quite a bit when you run over them.
The atmosphere is just so nice, which I see is what you spent most of your time on. I couldn't figure out how to use the thing you collect, if you can.. but yeah this is gorgeous, well done!

To me this feels like the art style was inspired by Celeste, which I hope is true because Celeste is wonderful. I love the art, but I had a few issues with the platforming. Mainly I didn't realize I was dying to spikes until my 10th death because I couldn't see them. Also once I got the weapon, I had no idea how to use it. I pressed every button on my mouse and keyboard and nothing happened.
