Pretty decent game, the movement and getting stuck on terrain are the most notable. I would have liked to have the grapple on a different key like space or rmb instead of grapple being on E, my fingers had a hard time trying to parse pressing W, E, D at the same time. Also the double jump feels way to strong I went 10+ just by jumping lol
The game looks great, and fantastic concept, but I really struggled to play it. The controls are all too close together, I find myself struggling to press the correct buttons with whatever finger is available, it's a mess in my mind trying to comprehend it. The movement also seems to be bugged. You get stuck on corners, you get stick in the air mid-swing, it's just impossible to keep a fluid motion.
If these two things were resolved, you would have an excellent game. On paper, this sounds fantastic, but the game really suffers from these difficulties. Great submission though!
Thank you for your Feedback! Actually I was feeling the same as you do. I noticed the Bugs on the Movement too but I did not have time to fix it, cause this would probably mean that i have to remake the whole Physics based movement system which wasnt in my time window. Also you can jump infinitely for some reason, in my last play test you couldnt do that but in the uploaded version you somehow can. And yes press D and E and R at the same time was a really Bad decision i've made. Still thank you for your Feedback it helps a ton to see that other people felt the same as i did.
