Software used
I used Godot for the game engine, Waveform 11 free for music, labchirp for the sfx, and blockbench for the various models / textures. (And krita for the itch page artwork)

Use of the limitation
I interpreted the limitation "From the top" as in falling from the top of a building, in this case an infinitely scaling tower.

Cool game and concept.

Very difficult to keep track of what its going on sometimes. Could use soome transparency on powers or enemies. Something to be able to have some space to react.

Really fun game. Feels very satisfying  when the character builds up speed.

Tho it feels kinda hard to tell whats going on sometimes. For example there are small, green and round enemies, but the jump pads are also small, green and round. Or the blue flame effect which took up a lot of screen around the character which made it hard to tell if theres an obstacle in front.
