I tried to download this, it said that the file is damage and can't be opened. I use Mac.

Developer

oh crap! really? that stinks. i'll look into it. i'm sorry about that.
thanks for giving it a shot though!

Developer

ok, i'm still trying to figure out why the download is stinky.. but in the meantime, it does work from the itch.io app...
https://itch.io/app
if you wanna try that?

Developer

hi there! so i searched around and found a fix!

first, place the Timeporter app in your Applications folder.
then, open Terminal on your Mac, and type the following:
xattr -cr /Applications/Timeporter.app

I tried this, it is pretty interesting. I was confuse in playing this game, because it doesn't have a clear direction on what to do and where to go. And the transitioning scene was a bit too hard in the eye with all the colors and stuff. You should add some form of clear direction in the kinda puzzle like gameplay. Overall is a neat idea, and I like the ending, it was ≧◡≦. cute.

Developer

thank you! and i'm super glad you got it working!

and i agree with you about guiding the players a bit more. and the teleport scene is a bit crazy! i'll definitely tone that down.

umm i got a question

after u download the files how do u launch the game?

Developer

hi there! the download package is a zip file. so first you just need to double-click it to unzip. then the game app should appear in the same folder as the zip file. the game app is called Timeporter. you just need to double click it to launch it.

it's a Mac only game for now, now if you have a PC it won't launch. hopefully I can make a PC version soon.
