After getting hit I couldn't go to the menu the progress bar just got stuck. So this review is a bit short sighted, I'm sorry.
I feel like it would have been better using the mouse by traveling in its direction it would have given an extra layer of control since the player could also choose when to fire, and if you wanted to keep the delay between shots then adding a cool down was an option, that would still give you an extra button to work with. The unlockables look nice but I couldn't really do much without crashing so again I'm sorry.
If you close the game and reopen it works just like restarting and it still saves your progress.
Or did you try to reopen but it didnt save?

Don't know why but every time I die I can't restart with the < + > (So I restarted the game multiple times closing/starting it), cool graphics + skins! Enjoyed it!
For some reason the restarting work in the engine but not in the built game but i hoped it was my bad computer. At least its not a game breaking glitch. People would probably play more and try to unlock the characters. I'll try to find what was wrong and upload a post jam game.

Nope, I couldn’t. I closed and opened it again.
But it was not a big issue for me because it was a gamejam game :)
Unfortunately, after trying to get into menu it bugged out. I had to manually install several libraries, but also I use 64 bit linux distribution.
I think that might just be a bug in the game do you just see a red line and a yellow line after you try to restart.
I can't seem to find the .exe file in the zip... D:
