The keyboard control scheme uses the keys from the limitation. The background shows the chaos in the universe around the little planet.

I like the faux gravity movement. It is very hard though. :-)

At the start of the game use the wheel up on the mouse to set the speed about 30%. If you have the sun above you, then you can also judge your speed by your shadow. Make the shadow stay under the ship and you will match the sun. This is without doing any turning to get the feel for it. I am going to make the actual planet painting work soon. Interesting mechenism.  Get progress by finding equator , chasing the sunlight.

It's a little hard. I was very close to the win!

Yes, you can stay in the sunlight by matching the speed to the sun. If you turn you might run into the darkness though, so you have to balance it. I will update this game soon to be able to actually paint on the surface. It turned out to be a little harder and I just need to learn some more Godot stuff. Thanks for looking at it!

The game can be played entirely with the keyboard shortcuts A/X and 8/P. The mouse controls do the same, but you don't have to use them.
