This game is really cool. Something I would do to make the shop more clear is to have a white outline on the selected tower.
Good Game, but the gameplay is confusing and a little hard to use. But overall I like it.
There's not really any indication that you've selected a tower which kinda makes it confusing
simple and short. Seems like a generic tower defense game for me. And also, it seems that the limitation is not used in this :(
but overall it has a good potential :)
I quite didn't understand the game at first and struggled to understand what the blue thing was doing. Kinda underwhelming when I finished it. It looks like it could be better though, the buttons just need to be more visually appealing. I had to find out how to click and place the things, I pressed the turrets on the store a ton of times before realizing I had selected it and had to click on somewhere to place it. There was literally nothing indicating I had selected it. So visual feedback and maybe sound feedback is what's lacking the most imo.
Work on those things and overall ig it has some potential. The limitation looks unused though :(
thanks for the comment, I'll keep that in mind when I take out the new version after the jam
I'll be looking out for it :)
Somehow I was able to place a blue ball even though I didn't have $1000. The effect was to "slow down the game time" and there seemed to be no gain in the end result.
Laser turrets produce money, so when players can buy laser turrets, they can explode in number. The feeling of power inflation is great fun.
However, the game didn't seem to follow the limitation (not the theme), and that was disappointing.
I got the game out in a hurry, that's why some bug and design problem escaped me, when the jam is finished I'm going to make a new version with everything I wanted at first, thanks for the feedback !!
I was having a hard time figuring out how to select either the tower or the powerup that slows them down, overall the game looks really nice visually but it was super hard for me
thank you for the feedback
