A nice puzzle, I liked it. Normally don't take the time to read everything but I did it and managed to finish the game.

i felt that i had beaten the game after making the stone first try and felt no motivation to try different combinations because i no longer had a goal more substantial than what i had already achieved. remove the notes but have immediate consequences when you break a rule to remove the misleading space between mistake and result
This was actually pretty entertaining. Puzzles like these are right up my alley!
