I really like the look of this game and the music is amazing.  Its also hilarious how everything just goes flying.  I do however think an objective is missing here though. As far as I see, the goal of the game is to get to max speed once, then the rest is just repeat. Once you raise your meter to the highest point you are running as fast as possible and will be able to always regain your momentum by hitting a new target.

The concept is funny, and I like the lore in the description, it would be good if there were references to it in game.

My problem with this game is that it doesn't explain its mechanics: it doesn't say what is the input method (I tried using my keyboard) and it doesn't explain that you speed up by hitting things (and I thought it was the opposite, like in real life).

So, it is an interesting game, but I didn't get how it works. I should beat small items to maintain my stamina or what? :) Don't read it, if you didn't play it yet! I started to follow the right border and gain a hyper-speed for a long time, but why? (or fire hydrants give a super stamina bonus?)

And art, art amazing )

Thanks!
The idea was that colliding with things will give you boost and that in order to keep running you would have to keep hitting things. Because sending things into the air is fun :)
I implemented a non-linear speed depletion and I wanted to make it so running at medium speed is what happens most and running at low speed is likely to end the game and that running at maximum speed occurs rarely.
I played with values and ended up with current system, where its a bit challenging at first to gain speed, but once you are at top speed - it gets easy. In order for the game to not be so boring I made items more scarce the more score you have, trying to make sure that once people get top speed they can easily run for time long enough to listen to full song :)
I wanted to implement repeatable achievements that would give temporary speed boost, something like "you hit 25 cars", so the player could strategize, but I ran out of time

A very well-made game, it's great that there is also a cutscene.
