How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
You play as the "only one" capable of finishing an ongoing battle against a Minotaur, as your allies have all been injured and are unable to fight. There is also only one enemy that you face throughout the game.

The special object appears as the primary weapon used by the Minotaur, who has a range of chain-based attack patterns.

Strong prototype! Very hard but freaking fun!

I like this, it's fun. The controls are fluid and the different stages of the fight are challenging. Only the dialog is a bit strange. First, I think the dialog at the beginning is too long, but that might be personal preference. But having to read and click away dialog in the middle of the fight feels a bit unfair. And if you do just click it away, you have no idea what to do. Maybe the game should pause, so you can read it.

Also, is there something wrong with fullscreen? Without fullscreen I can see much more of the level:

Hey, thanks for the great feedback! I agree that the starting dialogue is a bit excessive but we wanted to get a lot of info out. Maybe that should have been explained on the store page but we thought it was worth including in-game. I also see how the dialogue that appears while you can still move and get hit is a bit jarring, it's hard to read and play at the same time.

The fullscreen thing seems to be specific to the WebGL build. We didn't have much time to test the web version and were having issues with it but really wanted to make it work. The camera zoom in fullscreen mode is the intended one.
Thanks again for the feedback and for playing our game :D

Very very fun (probably one of the best games from the jam i've seen so far). The chains look nice and the attack patterns are fluid. Beat the game on my second try and my blood pressure was very elevated. One slightly annoying thing was getting attacked during dialogue. Overall very good job.

Hey thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. The chain attack patterns were really interesting to make. The curved swinging attack just sort of happened when trying to make each chain link rotate over time relative to its parent, and it looked cool enough so we just left it like that.

Developer

oops just finished typing my reply and saw this. Glad you got it sorted

Hey!
The game has sound effects and music, unless there's something specific you mean that doesn't have sound?
Try the windows build if the sound isn't working for you in the web build.

Also yeah it's pretty rough when you die right at the end, I feel ya!
