I appreciate a fishing minigame that doesn't require button mashing. The minigame is simple and smooth. I could see you improving upon it and juicing it up for your future game. For this game jam, however, I think you could have done without the walking around segment and just jumped straight into fishing.

I'm probably the worst person to rate this game as I usually avoid fishing in game, but it's one of the good ones. The main mechanic is quite fair and not boring, plus the demon fishes sprites are really cute.

Now outside of the fishing, the movement of the character feels off. I'd like to be able to move diagonally, and the character doesn't seem to stop when I stop pressing. Now that's easy fixes though and quite nitpicky.

That would fit well within a larger game, so good job!

The button respond lately which might ruin user experience

if you made a separate widget for controls that would great because controls on the top left corner doesn't suit very well and it affects the game's beauty 

Without these this game is quite fun to play, Well made!!
