Hi score 391 on the Playdate emulator! Really wish I could have played this with the crank though. The game is clearly based on the crank (even the name) plus it probably gives a competitive advantage!
This definitely feels like it could be a lost Game&Watch game. Congrats on the first game 🫡
My first game jam, and the first game I've ever created. I had a lot of fun with this project, and I plan to continue working on it with the goal of publishing in the Playdate Catalog. The game is made entirely in Pulp. A browser tool for making Playdate games.
I recommend playing on a real device by sideloading the game if possible, but the entire game can be controlled using the D-pad. The Playdate Mirror app mirrors a connected Playdate screen to PC or Mac, and I'm told is perfect for streaming.
If a physical device doesn't work, the other option is to run the game using the Playdate simulator included with the SDK.
The title card and hidden JeffM room added nearly 75% to the file size. Can you find JeffM? Watch out! He's angry. (Press 'B' to open the in-game menu for a hint!)
I'm so excited to see what everyone has been working on!
