Cool stuff! Pretty polished and complete-feeling! @april denise is right with their comment about being overwhelmed. I also didn't find it particularly clear when my tree cannon (the blue one...?) was refilled, and when too many flames came close to me then my heat level would tend to fly up to eight and send me back to my ship without much of an opportunity to apprehend the flames. I really enjoyed my time with the game, though, and I think  that with some minor UX tweaks you'll elevate this solid platformer.

Nice use of the assets as well!

Nice game! I'm a big fan of the glow and particle effects everywhere. It makes the game look really mysterious. The flying tree ship was cool too - a neat use of the assets!

At some points, I got really mobbed by the fire and found it difficult to recover. I kept putting trees down to help, but I soon ran out of room because of all the burnt trees. :( Eventually I just ran away lol. I think having the burnt trees disappear or spawning less fire would have helped me out there.

It feels very polished in terms of music, effects and UI, which is very amazing .

But man the gameplay is a little bit confusing. I can just stay on the flying tree and put out the fire to move on without caring about other little fire around. Therefore I think more level design elements should be added and the core gameplay should be more clarified.

But overall I like the game, definitely see some potential here!

Thank you for for checking out my game and your feedback. I do agree that the interaction between some mechanics could definitely be better and clearer. That combined with the overall length and especially the variety of encounters and enemies I think would also be beneficial for the game.

Hey! Thanks for letting me know about the problem exiting the ship. I'm still not entirely sure what the problem was but I did a quick fix that seems to work. I uploaded the new version.
