Great idea and I love the concept of having attack and defense separated so the player can sometimes decide what to focus on or what to forego when a challenging timing of button prompts come up. There’s also a smart mechanic implemented to prevent player spamming which I think is a good feature. However, the core gameplay needs a lot more improvements. The main appeal of DDR is not just about timing button prompts, it’s about hitting the beat and getting into the flow of the music or rhythm. Instead, this game is basically just a series of quick time events which I don’t find very engaging. All in all, good effort!

cool game, the idea of a medieval rhythm combat game just cracks me up. I feel like this idea has a lot of potential and could be really fun if developed further.

Really creative use of the art, engaging gameplay idea and it works as intended. Good time!

I really enjoyed this game, it felt very polished, and I found the 'assadsffdsa' on the endless leaderboard funny. To improve, I would sync the music with the inputs and make the UI nicer to read.

I have 2 suggestions for improvements:

1. Completely overdo the effects when the player gets it on the beat because it is hard to pay attention to everything in the UI at once.

2. Need to improve that thumbnail a lot, thumbnails are really important in big jams like these to stand out and I only found this game because I was sorting through least played

Thanks! Yeah thanks for the feedback! I definitely struggle to stand out in the bigger game jams, and that probably is a huge portion if it...
