This game got me confused... I don't really know what I was supposed to do except find an egg, but I only found a crown. Which didn't seem to do anything? And I didn't really like the tone of that old man x)
I have to say the lighting system was impressive, but I wish there was a little more interaction with the world.
The darkness made this game really hard and until you stumble across your first crown it is a little confusing as to what you are doing, but after that the game becomes quite fun to play. What and eggcelent entry!
I played until the guard just after picking the egg blocked the path everytime I played and couldn't continue.
It seems like you put a lot of effort on the story.

I got stuck in the tutorial, I tried interacting with the old man and all the wall pieces but nothing moved the game forward.
if you read the dialog he says to press spacebar, then to click on things.. but hey its okay
