Definitely could use some work in terms of smoothing out the user's experience interacting with the systems overall (UI is obviously the most prominent system in your game, so that'd take the priority), but it's also obvious that these things came as an extended result of overscoping, which I can definitely relate to.
Don't let your expectations discourage you! Keep working on this and start by taking what's necessary to achieve your vision for what could have been made given the jam's time frame and then polishing it up. I'd love to see where you take this concept, personally.
