Theme
We start on Earth on a space ship. We are travelling into space for a research expedition to a wormhole. After reaching the wormhole we then need to go home from this mission and re-enter back into earth.

Constraint
We are on a space ship travelling into space. There are asteroids and stars. The stars shift to different lights depending on the ship's speed. If the light is more on the blue spectrum the star's gravity affects the ship more, if the start is more red it's gravity does not affect the ship too much. We need to control the ship's speed to finish the space mission.

My game, I learnt C for this. I made the background parallax and star field stuff. So the game feels 2.5D. I have cried. I also had to draw sprites for this game. So I became a part-time artist. Some but not all sprites are drawn by me. The others are from Aurora.

Enjoy the evilness of hard mode. Gravity stars are the devil.

The real evil was the C code we wrote along the way.

I will never get those hours spent coding back...

I love this game! The gameplay is fun and feels so smooth and relaxing. I appreciated the relaxing light spectrum-inspired aesthetic - awesome. The music complimented the aesthetic and gameplay well (I love the music so much I have the game running while writing this just to hear it!). Excellent job! :D

Developer

Thank you

Very impressive for making in C.
Galaxy parllax stuff was cool.
I was uncertain what the stretching lights in the background were meant to be, they seemed to be based on my speed but not quite.

Developer

stretch lights where the stars streaking past the ship. It also sort of function as your speed/velocity ODM.

Super fun!! I didnt read the control instructions before i started, so i was using WASD trying to go linearly up, down, left and right instead of clockwise/counterclockwise lol!! After I got used to it though it was rlly fun!! Love the music and graphics also!!

Developer

yup we using them as thrusters and turning.

Love the feel of the game and the music/sound.  Controls were very fast and took a bit to get used to. Also wasn't sure what I was meant to be doing until I hit the black hole at the end. I did have fun doing it though!

Developer

Congratulation for getting half way! Did you do the return jorney?

A very beautiful game, with nice music and graphics! Once I got used to the controls, it was very fun to play!

Developer

Yeah the controls also took me awhile to get use to.
