It needs a lot of work but it is surprisingly really juicey considering the amount of time that was put into it.

Really nice little FPS, reminded me of modding old school DOOM! Great to see someone doing it for the love of the game!

Cool little game, I liked the gun controls and the aesthetic.

Thanks for the ammo!
I had fun playing the game. First of all I thought it would be really intense, but then I just flawlessly went through the level and finished the game. Neat little experience, well made and definitely good design, I understand it was hard to make given specific amount of time, but it turned out fine.

Good job.

Thank you for the kind words! I fully agree and definitely would have made the enemies more of a threat given more time, but as it stands I'm happy enough that I managed to get anything done at all :p

Did you really do all this in just a few hours? That's incredible. I've seen a lot less with a way bigger time frame. If you did all that in just 5 hours, then I think you have a very promising future with video games.

Ah, thank you!

It was my first time actually making anything with unity so I definitely made heavy use of the freely available assets in the asset store and various online tutorials, lots of figuring things out. Managed to throw together the background music in about 3 minutes as well, hahah - if only I'd heard of the jam more than a few hours before the deadline! Maybe I could have figured out how to sort the dodgy raycasting, dodgy health, dodgy audio, and added some menus. Ah well~

I'm pretty sure we all use the free assets. There's actually a half way decent first person shooter on the assets store. FPSAIO I think is what it's called. Plus if you download the Unity Standard Assets pack you get a basic FPS controller too
