This is my first ever game jam. So i hope that it would be fun. As for my game, im planning to make it into an arcade type of game. It is a top down shooter with you defending a red line at the bottom of the screen(don't know wut to name it) and enemies come over and try to pass through it. You have health in the game, or lives where if the enemies pass through that red line, you lose some health or lives. Im trying to add something that can relate to the change theme but i don't really know if it really does connect with the theme. Oh well, we'll just see. Since i started today, i plan on making more so that i can put it in this game jam before it finishes. I won't tell a lot of what i will be doing as to spoil the game so yeah. Hope to see you there! Good luck.

Day 2:

Currently finished the main menu

made a transition between different scenes

tried to do a point system but that failed miserably

Added some camera shake

slowed down the movement of the player when shooting

changed the colours of my game to give it off a more finished appeal.

Added power-ups to the game.

Power-Up:

- Damage buff.

- Three bullets at once

Feel free to comment on things i could possibly add, at this point im just trying to add a bit more variety to my game to make it more interesting and fun to play. So please leave your ideas in the replies.
