From our Discord announcements:
We've gotten a record number of participants this jam and in the interest of safety + moderation and fairness to later entries submissions will now be hidden until the jam period is over. You can still submit games and link to your submission page on the community or in the Discord but please don't worry if you don't see it up on the submissions page just yet! Thanks for understanding!
More informally, generally all submissions go directly to the jam page. Unfortunately some of these have been very clearly against our code of conduct and there's currently no approval process in place to prevent this. This typically hasn't been a problem, but since the jam is much larger than previous ones and there are only 3 of us (who would have to check constantly to prevent this) and thousands of participants we've enabled it in the meantime so that we don't have to constantly check. This also lets us prune the large number of spam submissions we get as well. We do wish there was something that could give us both (allowing approved submissions to go up) but the tradeoffs do give us better life balance.
