game was neat! unfortunately I started to get bored of the loop around floor 13
it took me a minute to understand how your companion works as well. at first I thought you were meant to protect her, but her dying doesn’t affect you too much. I could just kite around without really noticing if she was up or not
i think on room 15 or so, the room loaded in with no UI and I was stuck. so that’s as far as I got. good game!
Really good game. I enjoyed it a ton. Though I did have some issues around room 17/18 enemies stopped spawning and you can open up the pause menu multiple times causing it to overlap with the options menu. Also doing that cut off the music. Other then that your team did amazing!
Very good submission. Game feels very clean and there are small touches i noticed added into the game like the door having a black fire to indicate its closed. A sound that is played when you enter the room.
I think the one bug i encountered is when you set the volume in the options menu, it stopped the bgm immediately.
The game is definitely lacking more hooks to make the game play more exciting but i believe a smooth clean game > a broken game, or unprogressable game

we were supposed to add more variety to the game but we got rushed by time
and the goal of the game was to protect the princess but it seems we need to improve on that
we are still working on the game's end and other bugs so stay tunned!
