This game looks interesting. Would you consider adding Linux binaries?

A moving poem that I will keep with me.

Thank you for the kind words!

You’re right about the window size, I was having issues getting the game to scale properly in Godot. When the window was maximized, the viewport would stay the same size and pure black would extend from the ends to the border. I made an executive decision to turn off resizing because my time was coming to a close x3

Interesting, thanks for the information!

As of reviewing I was only able to find one key (in the kitchen), so I wasn’t able to conclude my investigation. The atmosphere makes my skin crawl.

The platforming feels good. The coins don’t despawn until their audio clip ends, so if you’re quick enough you can infinitely turn around and grab it again.

I managed to get 100 coins, but I don’t think that was the victory condition because I was still trapped.

The art style made me smile! I respect putting in a secret ending, but I don’t think I’m going to find it.

A cute little cat adventure! The platforming is unforgiving and the audio is a bit quiet. Overall I’m fond of this game and enjoyed my ~15min with it.

Seconded

Thank you for putting the effort in, I’ve removed Windows from my life at this point and I don’t want that to mean your games are gone too.

I swear it’s out there.

I loved this.

Please take your time, we’re looking forward to it!

Good luck on Steam! This VN meant a lot to me, I’m eagerly awaiting your future work :3

On-theme!

This was fun! I scored 4885

i got 132 :3

This game is so clever! Thanks for the submission. The animation when you score feels nice. It seems like there’s a bug with shot count, the counter counts each individual ball being hit.

This game is so fun! Placing walls and weapons is a nice touch. It feels like walls aren’t super helpful since the invaders do damage when they get to your area.

Oh nice, another game from you! I’ll give this a shot once I’m on my Windows machine later today.

thank you so much! the idea for attacking in any direction came to me while talking with my sibling.

the poem in the game is the Nine Herbs Charm, an Old English poem from the tenth century. it’s one of two mentions of Norse mythology in Old English!

i wasn’t a fan of how loud the turrets were, and how they stacked their audio. i had to mute the application to protect my hearing

i like how the shooting feels

game was neat! unfortunately I started to get bored of the loop around floor 13

it took me a minute to understand how your companion works as well. at first I thought you were meant to protect her, but her dying doesn’t affect you too much. I could just kite around without really noticing if she was up or not

i think on room 15 or so, the room loaded in with no UI and I was stuck. so that’s as far as I got. good game!

THANK YOU DOGGY! my time was 2:00

good game!

Some thoughts in order:

  • it would be nice to see “Isle of Dolls” instead of “horror2” in the taskbar, volume manager, etc
  • the menu music is unnerving(+)
  • overall I like the experience and it’s creepy
  • got stuck after rock

great game, thanks for submitting!
