Concept

There is a Hero fighting off evil creatures "vapmire survivors" style. Standing somewhere in the middle of the map.

Player cannot fight but can be damaged by enemies. Player have to collect heals and bring them to Hero.

Player and Hero share exp and level. Every level you can upgrade yourself and the Hero.

Game over when Hero dies.

GameEngine: Unity

I have no prior expirience in finishing any kind of games. So it's a big learning opportunity.

To do list for the first day

  • Starting menu  scene with [Play] and [Exit] buttons
  • Hero object with HP on top, loses HP on collide with enemy
  • Enemy object that moves towards Hero, have HP, destroyed on losing HP.
  • Enemies spawn randomly somewhere on the map
  • Player object that moves using wasd+arrows
  • Camera follows player
  • Game over message

Not really plan on doing items pickup and drop system the first day. Things above already pretty challenging to me.

I do not plan on doing any textures or sounds till last few days.

2 hours Update

  • Created Hero, Player and Enemy objects using basic shapes with movement and HP
  • Hero spawns splash attack that deal some damage to enemies
  • Created main menu scene with  working play and exit button

PickUp and Deliver items

Now you can pickup more than 1 item, enemies pushed when hit
