Game is finished and I'm tired :D

About the game

This game is a rather short experience where you have to solve several puzzles to finish the game, while walking among nostalgia  dream land

The idea behind this game is rather simple, walk around solving all puzzles and then finish the game. It's a top down perspective

Some thoughts

It was fun participating in this gamejam and actually finishing a game.
This was stressful and at times it was a rather sad experience, trying to make a game not similar to anything I've done before using tools I'm not exactly familiar with all of this was rather stressful
But in the end it was fun

Development process

This game went through a lot of design changes during development process, most notably a lot of areas were cut or changed visually(and while I wish i could keep some of them, i think final product looks and plays good enough).

Here are some screenshots from development process

Fun fact, whole map is always loaded in the game(it is rather small and different ares get hidden when player is not in them), it was done to simplify adding events

Your game has such wonderful atmosphere and story! I love the humor of the loading screen. Your sound design is SPOT ON and very inspiring. Love the 2.5D aspects and your characters are very cute / cool. Thanks so much for sharing! You say you are tired and I can see why! So much work! I hope that you rest easy knowing you made a super cool game!

Great work, surprisingly playing this game brought me back to my child hood where I never really knew if a game would be too scary for me or if I was even smart enough to figure out what to do, been a long time since a game made me feel like that! Blown away by the amount of rooms and mechanics you were able to fit into this, and great job keeping the otherworldly themes cohesive across the gameplay, graphics, and music.
