Hey franny22, thank you for checking out my game; I just played yours and managed to defeat all the enemies with the short-ranged character! I liked the core gameplay progression, and how the game doesn't limit you on how high your stats can get as it really gives the player a power fantasy. After leveling so much and beating the hardest enemy, it feels satisfying to see how far you've come. I found the enemy projectiles to be very difficult to dodge and the movement too frictionless, however. If you want more detailed thoughts, let me know, I'd be happy to provide them!
The game is not bad, it looks great visually, the music creates the right mood, but either I didn’t quite figure out how to play the game, or the enemies that are higher in complexity than the slime and the bird are too strong, it probably takes longer to farm weak enemies, but when I I tried to do this, then a wolf constantly jumps out of me, scares the hell out of me and kills me. I think if you make a more thoughtful leveling of the character and improve the balance a bit (I still think that I just didn’t understand how to play correctly), then the game will be very interesting, because with proper skill you can already spend a couple of hours in it.
