The concept behind your game is really cool! I especially like the Timeless Boxes mechanic, as it lends itself to some interesting puzzles. I particularly like how they were utilized in Level 8 to push the future timeline's Timeless Box off the platform. I found the screen to be very cluttered however, which made it difficult to understand what to do on first glance.

Thank you very much!

Game Title/URL: Casualty of Time

Pitch/Information: A 2D platformer where you play Jimmy the scientist, who is stuck in a time loop in the past! To return back to the future,  you must beat each level multiple times to progress to the next one, as you're in a time loop. The catch is that parts of the level deteriorate with each loop and change when interacting with the environment, and don't return to be used in the next loop.

I'd like feedback on: Game feel, level design, and in-game clarity of mechanics and goals.

I need help on: Ideas for new levels/puzzles and mechanics. I've already implemented a few mechanics prior to the deadline, but didn't have enough time to design levels to utilize them. Such mechanics include two one-time use, pickup-able buffs being a jump height buff, and a time freeze buff that freezes all enemies/projectiles. As well as a goomba-like enemy that doesn't respawn with new loops.

Thank you for playing, lodan lagab! I'll make sure to play your game (at least by tomorrow evening)! The multiple jumps was not intentional! XD I forgot to have the obstacles ignore raycasts as I'm already using a raycast to check if the player is grounded. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Thank you for playing franny22, I'm glad you liked the gameplay! Regarding your note on dying in-game, did you feel dying was too frustrating starting back on the first loop? I just want to know so I know the problem your suggestion addresses.

P.S. I played your game and wrote a comment on your submission. I thought it was fun! :)

Hey franny22, thank you for checking out my game; I just played yours and managed to defeat all the enemies with the short-ranged character! I liked the core gameplay progression, and how the game doesn't limit you on how high your stats can get as it really gives the player a power fantasy. After leveling so much and beating the hardest enemy, it feels satisfying to see how far you've come. I found the enemy projectiles to be very difficult to dodge and the movement too frictionless, however. If you want more detailed thoughts, let me know, I'd be happy to provide them!
